Politics Online – End User Terms and Conditions (Revision Series 2026)

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Politics Online Revision Series 2026 (the “Service”), including all live-streamed revision sessions, recorded sessions, and the revision video library (together, the “Content”). By registering for, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. About Us
Politics Online is operated by Politics Online Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (“Politics Online”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We provide digital educational content focused on A Level Politics and related curricula.
2. Eligibility and Intended Use
2.1 The Service is intended for educational use by students, teachers, and individual learners. You must be at least 16 years old to access or use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are aged 16 or 17, you confirm that you have any required parental or guardian consent where applicable.
2.2 The Service is designed to support revision and learning. It does not constitute formal teaching, examination advice from awarding bodies, or a guarantee of examination performance or results.
3. Description of the Service
The Service includes, without limitation:
- Live-streamed revision sessions covering UK Government, UK Politics, US Comparative Politics, and Global Politics;
- Recordings of live-streamed sessions;
- A revision library of 80+ pre-recorded lectures aligned to Edexcel A Level Politics topics;
- Content delivered and created by qualified teachers and educators with subject-matter expertise.
We reserve the right to amend, update, replace, or withdraw any part of the Service at any time for operational, educational, or legal reasons.
4. User Accounts and Access
4.1 Access to the Service is provided via a password-protected website or platform. Login credentials are issued for individual use only.
4.2 You must keep your login details confidential and secure at all times. Login details must not be shared privately or publicly, including (without limitation) with friends, classmates, schools, tutors, on social media, messaging platforms, or online forums.
4.3 You acknowledge that unauthorised sharing of login details causes significant commercial and operational harm to Politics Online.
4.4 Where Politics Online reasonably believes that login details have been shared, misused, or compromised, we may take one or more of the following actions without notice:
- suspend or terminate access to the Service;
- reset or disable login credentials;
- restrict access to specific features, sessions, or recordings;
- limit the number of concurrent sessions or devices;
- require re-verification of the account holder;
- refuse future access or registrations.
4.5 Access suspended or terminated due to credential sharing or misuse will not be refunded.
4.6 Politics Online will take reasonable and proportionate steps in responding to suspected misuse and will not be responsible for any loss of access arising from a breach of this section.
5. Fees, Payments, and Access Periods
5.1 Fees (where applicable) are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
5.2 Access to the Service is granted for the period specified at the point of purchase or registration. Access will automatically expire at the end of that period unless renewed.
6. Intellectual Property and Copyright
6.1 All Content within the Service is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Unless otherwise stated, all such rights are owned by or licensed to Politics Online Ltd.
6.2 This includes, without limitation:
- Live-streamed sessions and recordings;
- Pre-recorded revision lectures;
- Slides, notes, graphics, scripts, and supporting materials;
- Branding, logos, and platform design.
6.3 Content created or presented by teachers, educators, or other contributors remains protected by copyright. Politics Online holds the necessary rights and licences to make such Content available to end users.
6.4 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Content for your personal, non-commercial educational use only.
6.5 You must not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or otherwise exploit the Content;
- Share Content or access credentials with others;
- Use the Content for commercial purposes, tutoring businesses, or competing services;
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the Content.
You may download Content only where a download function is expressly provided by Politics Online, and solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use. Downloaded Content must not be shared, uploaded, redistributed, or retained beyond the permitted access period.
Any unauthorised use may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.
7. Live Streams and Recordings
7.1 Live sessions will be recorded and made available to users as part of the Service.
7.2 By participating in live sessions (including via chat or Q&A functions), you acknowledge that your contributions may be visible to others and may be included in recordings.
7.3 You must not record, rebroadcast, or redistribute live sessions or recordings under any circumstances.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any unlawful, abusive, or disruptive manner;
- Upload or transmit offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate material;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
We reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or terminate accounts where acceptable use standards are breached.
9. Educational Disclaimer
9.1 The Content reflects the understanding and perspectives of its presenters at the time of delivery and is intended as revision support only.
9.2 While reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy, Politics Online does not guarantee that the Content is complete, error-free, or fully aligned with the most recent examination specifications.
9.3 Users remain responsible for independent study and verification against official Edexcel and awarding body materials.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Politics Online shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of examination results, grades, or academic outcomes;
- Any indirect, consequential, or economic loss;
- Any loss arising from reliance on the Content.
10.2 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Data Protection and Privacy
11.1 We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
11.2 Details of how we collect and use personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Suspension and Termination
12.1 We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.
12.2 On termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will cease.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are notified constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms.
